Which cribbage is this?
Three of them. Five-card, the older pub game to 61: five cards each, two to the crib, and the play stops at the first 31. Pairs, the league game: four players in partnerships, one card each to the box, to 121. And six-card to 121, the game most people learn first. The full rules for all three are in the app, and Learn to play walks you through a whole deal.
I could not lay a card and the game moved on
That is a go. When you cannot lay a card without taking the count past 31, you say go and the others carry on; the app says it for you. When nobody can lay, the last player to lay pegs one for last.
The opponent pegged out while counting their hand
The show is counted in order — the player on the dealer's left first, the dealer last, then the crib — and the first to reach the end wins on the spot, even if a later hand would have scored more. That is counting out, and it is the rule.
Can I use the app as a board for real cards?
Yes: Table mode is a pegboard for two or three players or two teams, with undo for a wrong count, and a hand counter that adds up a hand and shows where each point comes from.
I bought the unlock and it is asking me to buy again
Open Settings from the home screen and tap Restore Purchase under Purchase. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID, so make sure you are signed in with the same one you bought it with. The unlock is a one-time purchase and covers both the iPhone/iPad app and the Mac app.
How many free games do I get?
Seven completed games, not a countdown of days. Install it and come back in a month if you like — the trial waits for you. After that, one purchase unlocks every game and table mode, for good.
Is there multiplayer?
No. Every game is played against an opponent running on your device, and everything works offline. Table mode is for playing with real people and real cards.
