The cribbage they play in English pubs, against an opponent on your device: five-card to 61, Pairs with a partner against two, and six-card to 121. No ads. No timers. One purchase, for good.

The Pub Games

Five-card is the older game, still played in pub leagues across the south of England and in South Wales: five cards each, two to the crib, a three-card hand, and the play stops at the first 31. The non-dealer starts with three for last.

Pairs is the league game: four players, partners sitting opposite, one card each to the box. Feed your partner's box, starve the other side's, and peg together. Your partner and both opponents are played by the computer.

Six-Card

The game most people learn first: six cards each, two to the crib, and the play goes on until every card is out, to 121.

Table Mode

Playing with real cards? The app is the board: a British pegboard for two or three players or two teams, with a back peg that shows every claim and undo for a wrong count. The hand counter adds up a hand and shows where every point comes from.

Learn By Playing

A guided deal on the real board shows every way to score, one step at a time: fifteen two, a pair, a pair royal, a go, thirty-one, a run and one for last, then the show. The full rules are always a tap away.

An Opponent Worth Playing

Three levels. Gentle plays like someone learning; sharp looks ahead through the play. None of them can see your cards: each reads only what a player in its seat could see.
