Common questions
I discarded a card and my turn ended
That is the rule, and it is the one that catches everybody. In Spite & Malice there is no end-turn button: putting a card on one of your own discard piles is how you hand play to your opponent. Do everything else first, and discard last. The same is true in Gin Rummy, where your discard ends your turn.
The game keeps drawing cards for me in Crazy Eights
Also the rule. If nothing in your hand matches the pile by suit or rank, the game draws for you until something does. There is no draw button, so a turn where you seem to do nothing is the game drawing on your behalf.
I bought the unlock and it is asking me to buy again
Open Settings from the home screen and tap Restore Purchase under Purchase. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID, so make sure you are signed in with the same one you bought it with. The unlock is a one-time purchase and covers both the iPhone/iPad app and the Mac app.
How many free games do I get?
Seven completed games, not a countdown of days. Install it and come back in a month if you like — the trial waits for you. After that, one purchase unlocks all three games, for good.
The stock ran out and nobody won
That is a draw, and it is a real result rather than a stuck board. It counts as neither a win nor a loss and does not break a streak.
How do I earn the other decks?
By winning. A win scores a point and a win against the hardest opponent scores two, and the twelve decks unlock along a single ladder. Any of the three games earns them, and a deck you earn is available in all three.
Is there multiplayer?
No. All three games are played against an opponent running on your device, and every game works offline.
